8.5 x 11 inchs, single page typed letter, July 25, 1950, signed Bill Donovan. George Outland was a campaign manager for James Roosevelt's campaign for California
governor. This letter mentions Donovan visiting campaign head quarters trying to get ".... my check for gas and oil used during the latter days of the campaign."
Donovan founded the OSS, Office of Strategic Survices, in WW2, and is known as the "father" of today's CIA. $500
